Baby Giraffe Embroidery Pattern

I have a new embroidery pattern set available in my shop!  This one is titled Baby Giraffe.  There are five pages of giraffe images.

I embroidered this one first:

His spots are stitched using the Satin Stitch.  The tree leaves are stitched with Fishbone Stitch.  The tree trunk is Stem Stitch:

The giraffe is outlined with Back Stitch.  His horns and eyebrow are rows of Back Stitch. His eyes, nose and hoofs are Satin Stitch.  His eyelashes, mouth and the grass are Straight Stitch.

His mane is Blanket Stitch and his tail and forelock are Turkey Work.

Here are the floss color numbers I used for this project palette:

Embroidery Monogram Alphabet

I stitched this "M" initial from my new embroidery pattern: Monogram Alphabet.

This alphabet features the font French Script.  The letters are beautiful!  Each letter of the alphabet is surrounded by a floral wreath.  There are also two complete alphabets in coordinated smaller sizes to form a classic three letter monogram.  I added the numbers 0-9, a blank wreath and various floral elements for personal customization.

For my M project, I used six strand cotton embroidery floss, this is DMC number 210.

I used rows of Back Stitch for the M, the flowers and leaves are Lazy Daisy Stitch with French Knot accents and the stems are all done with Stem Stitch.

I am looking forward to stitching more of these!

Christmas Village Embroidery Pattern

Christmas Village is the new embroidery pattern set I have finished and made available in my shop!

There are dozens of Christmas motifs of various sizes included in this set.

I am currently working on this village scene.  This is a fairly large motif so I am working it in small sections.
I designed the village scene to fit perfectly in a 10" hoop.  I think it could be a beautiful Christmas display to hang this in a hoop that has been embellished with ribbon.

This fir bough motif would be a festive addition to a napkin or any table linen

I will post all my color and stitch information as I finish these!

Baby Boy Quilt Labels

I have a new item in my shop!  A set of printable, editable quilt labels.   These particular labels are all baby boy inspired.

There are 20 full color decorative labels in a variety of styles

I designed these labels so that they can be easily edited on your computer.  You can customize each label with your own information or message in the style, color and size you prefer:

Then you can print the label right from your printer onto a printable fabric sheet.

Peel the backing sheet off:

And cut out your label:

Press the raw edge under and sew onto your quilt!

There are also 3 black and white labels that have embroidery motifs.  These have room for you to type in your own information and then print and hand embroider the motif

The fabric sheets are a nice medium weight 100% cotton so they embroider beautifully.  I bought mine online.

I think these labels will be so nice to use on any baby boy quilts I will be making - they are also a nice gift for a quilter!
