Beach House Welcome Sign Project - Part One

I have a work in progress to share!  Actually, several:

This Welcome motif is from my Beach House embroidery pattern set.  I just finished stitching this in a sea-green and camel color palette.  I still need to rinse out my transfer marks:

Next, I am going to stitch this in a red/white/blue/gray palette

and finally an ocean blue/pink/coral palette:

I am looking forward to seeing which color palette I like the best!  Do you think I should use the same stitches on all three?...still deciding.

I will post my progress and when completed I will share the floss color numbers and stitch information.

What a great project, Kim! I can't wait to see it in all the different colorways. I think you picked some wonderful combinations.
As to whether you should change the stitching with each one...I think the different textures will change it somehow and so I wonder...how much time do you have for stitching? I'd love to see them in the same stitches and if you want to do more than one for each colorway, so much the better for me!! lol You created a lovely Summer design.

Thank you Darlene! Yes, I was thinking the different stitching will be time consuming - I have already started on the blue/pink/coral and I immediately used the same Stem Stitch for the rope lol! I will keep you updated :)

Hi Kim, what fun doing all the stitching in such an array of "Sea" colours!!! Waiting to see the finished designs. Same stitches in different colours will look very different. Different stitches different colours will be unique. But, it will take a while to get it all right. Any which way, all the best to get your desired outcome.

P.S:in my country it is common to see same stitches in different colour sets on different colour backgrounds on the same type of cloth:)

Hi Mallika, Thank you! It is great to explore how many ways a single design can be executed!
