I have a work in progress to share. This branch with cherry blossoms and buds is from the Cherry Blossom embroidery pattern set.
For the flowers, I am using Long and Short Stitch. The flower centers are formed with the Pistil Stitch. The branch is rows of Back Stitch and the leaves are Fishbone Stitch.
The color palette is just a few colors - the same palette I used on this project:
