Easter Project - Part Two

I have an update on my Easter stitching.  I have been filling in flowers, leaves and stems.

I have taken out the pale pink floss on the text, it was way too light for the rest of the color palette.

I am thinking that maybe I shouldn't have done ALL the lazy daisy flowers in this dark pink {?} but I think I will wait until I have filled in more of the motifs to decide:

You can see I am dangerously close to the end of my dark purple floss {DMC #340} so as soon as I find some more, I can finish this up!

  1. Hi Kim,
It is lovely. The dark pink is a good choice. It 'll be uplifting once you finish the entire motif. Waiting to see the completed work:)

  4. I like it!
Maybe if you use a yellow in the lazy daisy flowers (the little dot) the pink itsn't so present? - but again I like it and I'm suspected because I LOVE yellow! :)

Darlene - Great I do too, there will be a few more when I fill in the flower centers and add the random French knots
Thank you Jules! I am loving that roumanian stitch - it looks so neat and tidy even in curvy shapes!

  9. On your Lazy Dasies, maybe the knots can be of a different color or different pink? Just a thought
