I love these beautiful floss colors...
They are just the colors to use for Valentine's Day stitching projects! I have a new pattern packet called Be Mine and it features all kinds of beautiful hearts, doves, embellishments, borders and also - lazy daisies - my favorite now that I know how to do this stitch!
This is what the pattern packet looks like - I will be posting more of my finished projects made from this packet - they have been so much fun to stitch!
I love them!!! Finally someone has Valentines!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! As always! I can get excited about Valentine's day now!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies :) Pink and red hearts are just what February needs!
ReplyDeleteKim! I read your profile and your blog is embroidery!! So many stitching blogs are about quilts and I cannot quilt. SO I appreciate your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks Miss Paula! I don't know how to quilt either although I would like to learn - I am really having fun with this blog - trying to improve my embroidery skills!

ReplyDeleteKim, Have you tried these hoops???
Your hearts are so pretty. I just found your blog through Miss Paula's and I'm going to follow you so I can come back when I have more time and check out your 100 Stitches project.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Paula - No I have not tried these QSnap Frames - I have just been looking all around the 123stitch website - thanks for the link! Do you like these frames? I like the idea that they don't leave hoop wrinkles!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty! I am so glad you are following my blog! Thank you - I will be posting some more heart pictures - I just finished two (one featuring the chain stitch)! I hope you will like the 100 stitches project - it is turning out to be so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that I found your blog! I am a hand quilter who loves hand embroidery! Your blog is great! I have ordered your 'Be Mine" pack, I want to do up a pillowcase for my daughter who is away at college! That Heart patter is perfect! I love your Valentine color's. What are some of your favorites?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your work!
Libby
Hi Libby! I am so glad you found my blog too - I think a heart embroidered pillowcase will look gorgeous - your daughter will love it! Handmade items mean so much! I love Valentine colors - I have been using red (DMC #321) - It is such a rich, true red more deep than bright - perfect for Valentines day and it looks especially good with (DMC #3708) pink. The DMC 3708 pink is a bright pink and makes a nice contrast to the red. I just finished a heart with the two colors together and really like the combination. Thanks for the note - I will head over to read your blog too!
