Beautiful satin floss:

Isn't this gorgeous floss? Not only is the pink color beautiful, but so is the texture. You can see the shine:This gorgeous pink floss is satin floss - DMC #S899. I am using this floss on this valentine key embroidery I really like the way it looks:
so much that I used it on all three keys! This floss is really silky and slippery and takes a little practice and patience to use. I think it is well worth the effort for the beautiful results.

Your stitches are so perfect! I envy you!
How is that floss to work with? Is it slippery?

Beautiful stitching!
Is this your 1st project with satin floss.... you did great!
This thread gives me a bit of hard time mainly when finishing/ending it, so haven't used the skeins on my stash much.

John'aLee - Thank you! Yes this floss is extremely slippery! It is also sort of twisty and I had to keep letting the needle hang free so the floss would un-twist itself!
Hi Libby! - Thank you :) That little satin stitch heart is my favorite part too. It is a single strand of the floss - so super easy to work with.
Simone - :) Thank you!
Monika - Thank you! I have only stitched with the satin floss one other time-I stitched a design of a butterfly and some flowers - I was really a beginner and I had a LOT of problems. I still have all the satin floss from that project sitting in my stash too ;) I did notice that the satin floss tends to fuzz and almost pull apart on the ends after you cut it. It works best if you don't handle the ends too much.
Hi Farah :) Thank you! I love the way these stitches turned out. The directions on the DMC floss website recommended you use longer stitches to really show the shimmer of this beautiful floss.
Hi Kate - Thank you! I love how soft this satin thread is too - and it comes in soooo many beautiful colors it will look perfect on the cupcakes.
Rachel - Thank you! This is a gorgeous pink - I can't wait to use it on some other projects.
